Participants will learn how the letter of the law intersects with practice in a healthcare setting. Actual practice in a healthcare setting can differ from what the law states and participants will learn important legislation outlined for healthcare practitioners and how those should be implemented. Participants will learn what duties are owed to patients and residents in a healthcare setting and the requirements imposed by statute so that participants may avoid running afoul of any requirements set forth.
