Information Services

Information Services handles the data, voice and video for the Masonic Home. This job entails maintaining over 200 computers, 50 printers, 800 telephones and 500 television feeds for over 500 residents and over 600 employees of the Masonic Home. With computers becoming more and more a part of our lives the challenges of keeping up with the technology becomes greater. Information Services maintains over 30 applications including an integrated electronic medical records system that helps our team provide exception quality of care. We have over 120 cameras recording all activity in common areas and the outside perimeter of the Masonic Home facility. Our centralized computer room houses all of our computer servers, network infrastructure and telephone switches. Our technology rests on a solid foundation of fully redundant fiber optic data switches that transport information between thousands of devices across our campus. We connect our employees and residents to the world via two independant Internet service providers, one 12Mbps business class cable connection and one 45Mbps corporate grade DS3 connection.  Residents may utilize free high speed Internet in the residential computer lab or enjoy private high speed access in their rooms for a small monthly fee.

Our mission is to ensure that residents enjoy superior communication and exception care through the benefits technology offers.
