Masonic Home of New Jersey

Our Team

Information Services handles the data, voice, and video for the Masonic Home. This job entails maintaining over 200 computers, 50 printers, 800 telephones and 500 television feeds for over 500 residents and over 600 employees of the Masonic Home. With computers becoming more and more a part of our lives the challenges of keeping up with the technology becomes greater. There are 35 separate applications that we are responsible to keep up and running including our electronic medical records system that helps our team provide exceptional quality care. We have over 120 cameras recording all activity in common areas and the outside perimeter of the Masonic Home facility. There is a centralized computer room housing all of our computer servers and blades, all the telephone switches and ports, and the back up system for all this information. At the center of our infrastructure are fully redundant fiber optic switches that transport information between thousands of devices across our campus. We connect our employees and residents to the world via two independant Internet service providers supporting electronic mail service and our high speed residential computer lab. We are fortunate to work for the fraternity, be so deeply involved, and have the ability to make things better for the wonderful residents here at the Masonic Home, our extended family.
